A Live Clinical Intensive
📅 Next Cohort:  October 19–30

You know the theory.
Now apply it.
Live.

A 2-week live intensive for clinicians and strength & conditioning coaches who already work with performance athletes — teaching you to apply reactive strength assessment and joint function treatment live, not just in theory. No prior Absolute coursework required. Built by the team behind Biological Point B.

Why This Exists

Everyone teaches
the framework.
Nobody teaches
the room.

Every clinician working with performance athletes has hit the same wall: you can pass a cert, you can name the framework — and you still hesitate the moment a real athlete is on your table.

The Confidence Gap
"I know PIMA/OIMA in theory but freeze applying it live."
Reading a taxonomy and reading a joint under load are two different skills. Most CEU content only teaches the first.
The Time Problem
"I don't have time for a full recertification."
10 hours of pre-recorded material to watch on your own time, then a focused 2-week live intensive — not a semester-long commitment.
The Credit Problem
"I'm collecting CEUs but not building real clinical judgment."
This isn't a protocol PDF. It's live case review — direct feedback on your specific reasoning, not generic content.
The Isolation Problem
"I have no one to ask when a case doesn't fit the textbook."
Direct access to Paul, John, and Dr. Chivers across two focused weeks — not a one-off seminar you never think about again.

30 hours.
Half of it
is real cases.

10 hours of pre-recorded lecture, watched before we start. Then two focused weeks, 20 hours live — split evenly between case work and teaching. Nothing generic, nothing pre-recorded once the cohort begins.

1
Pre-recorded: the framework, on your time
10 hours covering Point A → Point B, the Absolute Conjugate Strategy, manual treatment technique, and the clinical decision-making matrix behind every call you'll make live — watched before the cohort begins, so no live time is spent on material you can absorb on your own.

2
Live: three real athletes, seen twice
Three athletes, each seen across two live sessions — assessment and treatment, then a breakdown of what happened and why. A final group session ties all three cases together. One or two cohort members get the opportunity to be the practitioner in the hot seat, personally coached live.

Trusted By Practitioners

Real names.
Real teams.

CITC is new, so nobody's reviewing the live cohort yet — but here's what practitioners across professional and collegiate sport say about working with the Absolute team and framework.

"Continued growth, education, and research based findings are important in our industry. The team at Absolute Sports Science has been exceptional to work with over the years, and the Art and Science of Programming is a great platform for professionals that want to grow in their career."

Phil Matusz
Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, Pittsburgh Steelers
On The Art & Science of Programming

"The Art and Science of Programming has helped me really dive into establishing a Point A for a baseball athlete as we work through what this looks like within our department. The best thing about the course is the summarization of everything Absolute has put out there thus far."

Alan Burr
Co-Director Strength & Conditioning, Pittsburgh Pirates
On The Art & Science of Programming

"I think very highly of Quint, Paul, and Dr. Chivers so this was a no-brainer for me. Learning from John in-person has resulted in a fundamental shift in how I look at athlete preparation. I highly recommend this for any S&C, PT, AT, Chiro, or manual therapist."

Colton Razo
Strength & Conditioning Coach, Ohio State Track & Field
On The Art & Science of Programming

"The Art and Science of Programming brings Point B and the Absolute Conjugate Strategy into one practical, digestible system. Seeing real programming examples makes the strategy immediately applicable with your own athletes — and athletes love it."

Adrian Guardado
Director of Return to Play, UCLA Football
On The Art & Science of Programming

"Absolute Sports Science has consistently been delivering information that has helped the way I treat my players, and this course will be another element that I use. Thanks to Dr. Chivers, John and Paul."

Matt Peragine
Head Football Athletic Trainer, University of Miami
On Absolute Sport Science

"The Art and Science of Programming has given me a comprehensive, system-based approach to pinpoint weak points in my patients that may be contributing to injury or decreased performance. It teaches you to think and assess from a total systems view."

This Isn't For You If

  • You're not currently treating performance athletes on a regular caseload.
  • You want a certificate to hang on the wall, not live coaching on real cases.
  • You're expecting a self-paced course you can finish whenever.
  • You can't commit to the live sessions across the 2-week window.

This Is For You If

  • You already treat performance athletes and want to apply the framework live, not just read about it.
  • You want direct, real-time feedback from Paul, John & Dr. Chivers on your own clinical reasoning.
  • You're ready to be the practitioner in the hot seat if the opportunity comes up.
  • You want CEU credit that actually came from doing the work, not just watching it.

Questions,
answered directly.

If you don't see your question here, ask it on the call — that's what it's for.

Is there a money-back guarantee?
No. This is live coaching with a small, limited group — once a spot is allocated, that time is committed whether you attend every session or not. All sales are final.
Do I need to attend every live session?
Yes. The live case work and teaching sessions are the core of this program — this isn't a self-paced course. The 10 hours of framework material is pre-recorded so you arrive prepared, but the 20 live hours are where the actual coaching happens.
Is this eligible for continuing education credit?
Yes — CEU accreditation is a priority, not an afterthought. Physical Therapists are approved through the Florida PT board. We're actively working with the BOC (Athletic Trainers), NASM, CSCCA, additional state PT boards, and PACE (for chiropractic credentialing) to bring every major credentialing body on board. Bring your specific state/board requirements to the application call and we'll confirm exactly where things stand for your credential.
Who is this actually for?
Massage therapists, PTs, ATs, and strength & conditioning coaches — including those specifically in Return to Play roles — who already treat or train performance athletes and want to move from knowing the framework to applying it live and with confidence. You don't need to have taken any prior Absolute course; the framework itself is taught in the pre-recorded material. What matters is that you're already working with athletes regularly.
What happens after the cohort ends?
You'll sit a final exam — passing it earns your Conjugate in the Clinic certification, not just a certificate of attendance. Graduates also get a discount toward 1:1 consulting with our team. Beyond that, you're welcome to apply for future cohorts as the framework evolves.

Stop reading the theory.
Start treating live.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Apply now to see if the next cohort is the right fit for your caseload.
